Tantalus Prism
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
This game was made in 6 weeks for Toxic Yuri VN Jam 2 by me (Brewster), and my wife Fay.
Cecily is a personal maid to Princess Agnes, but her mother, Queen Avelina simply will not let either of them grow from the cages she's constructed for them. While Cecily has resigned itself to its fate, Agnes is determined to break free.
- Linear visual novel, 20k+ words, playtests ranged from 1.5-2 hours.
- Content warnings are both on the about page and also when you boot up the game proper. This was a bit of a venture for both of us so we tried to tag best we can.
- Game is intended for adult audiences (18+)
- We didn't get to finish all our cgs so there's a lot of placeholders! Additionally while we collected sfx for this project, we didn't get to implement them yet. We'll keep working on those during judging in hopes of releasing a more full version later.

such GORGEOUS character art. i truly want to see this with all the art finished and put in bc it was soooo yummy to sit and perceive as i read.
the story itself is just as tasty. i hate to say it but i would be honored to let the queen do such vile things to me and i would thank her for it (needless to say, you've made a vn about desire hot, which is a contradiction of itself, hm?). you did very well in painting Agnes as both a sympathetic but also maddened sort of character. and Cece, oh, poor Cece... i want to hold it and keep it safe.
